A ritmo de tamboras, los habitantes de la zona rural del municipio de Agustín Codazzi le dijeron sí a su participación en las mesas para la construcción del Plan de Desarrollo Cesar 2024-2027, que tuvo como elemento principal las problemáticas del área rural.

La Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar, del corregimiento Llerasca, fue el punto de encuentro para la realización de las mesas participativas, hasta donde llegaron hasta donde llegaron residentes de los diferentes corregimientos y veredas que hacen parte del municipio de Agustín Codazzi, para dar a conocer sus necesidades.

El jefe de Planeación Departamental, Luis Camilo Cerchiaro Mejía, indicó que esta corresponde a la octava mesa de participación, espacio para escuchar de primera mano las necesidades de la población, siendo incluyentes, porque han tenido en cuenta todos los sectores, en esta oportunidad a la zona rural, en donde se palma de manera directa lo que requiere esta población del departamento del Cesar

El alcalde del municipio de Agustín Codazzi, Hernán Baquero Rodríguez, se mostró complacido porque el Gobierno del Cesar tuvo a bien tener en cuenta a Llerasca para realizar estas mesas participativas, por tener en cuenta a la zona rural.

Mayerlis Aranda, representante del sector turístico y cafetero, expresó que, “quiero que en el Plan de Desarrollo queden plasmados los programas para sacar adelante estos sectores de la economía, queremos llevar nuestro café a la parte turística del departamento, Codazzi es un gran productor de café y eso no se reconoce, por eso lo queremos destacar”.

Agregó que, “Me siento con la responsabilidad de ser la vocera de los campesinos de la Serranía del Perijá, nuestros productos no se han podido comercializar porque no tenemos la denominación de origen; en cuanto a turismo, el departamento del Cesar tiene la naturaleza de avistamiento de aves, podemos atraer muchos turistas y hacer con ellos senderos y caminatas por la Serranía del Perijá, demostrar que somos un Caribe Cafetero con el programa ‘Móntate en las botas de un caficultor’ para que el turista sepa cómo es el proceso del café, desde su cultivo, recolección, procesamiento hasta que termine un una taza de café y lo puedan deleitar”.

Las mujeres tomaron la vocería, Ángela García, representante de este sector, acotó que: “lo que queremos es que a la mujer nos den más oportunidad en los diferentes ámbitos, especialmente para aquellas del sector rural para ser alfabetizadas, capacitadas y puedan iniciar su emprendimiento para mejorar las condiciones de vida tanto para ella como para sus hijos”.

Desde el corregimiento de Casacará, estuvo Adelmo Rodríguez, presidente de la Junta de Acción Comunal y quien además representa a las comunidades afro, “queremos que incluyan más a los afros, se les dé mayor participación, veamos las necesidades que están ocurriendo acá, sueño con que, en cuatro años, los afros tengan mejor representación y nos ayuden a resolver todas nuestras necesidades”.

He added that, “I feel the responsibility of being the spokesperson for the farmers of the Serranía del Perijá, our products have not been able to be marketed because we do not have the designation of origin; In terms of tourism, the department of Cesar has the nature of bird watching, we can attract many tourists and take trails and hikes with them through the Serranía del Perijá, demonstrating that we are a Caribbean Coffee Grower with the program 'Ride in the boots of a coffee grower' so that tourists know what the coffee process is like, from its cultivation, harvesting, processing until they finish a cup of coffee and can enjoy it."

 

Women took the lead, Ángela García, representative of this sector, stated that: “what we want is for women to be given more opportunities in different areas, especially for those in the rural sector to be literate, trained and able to start their careers.” entrepreneurship to improve living conditions for both herself and her children.”

From the township of Casacará, there was Adelmo Rodríguez, president of the Community Action Board and who also represents the Afro communities, “we want them to include Afros more, give them greater participation, let's see the needs that are happening here, dream “so that, in four years, Afro people will have better representation and help us solve all our needs.”
